Because you had them outstanding for six months, from 1/1/2 until 06/30/02 and then you issued more on 7/01/2. Ponte pa las consas!

It's just their calculation that confused me. I actually reviewed the book (I had to skip this lecture) and took the time to do the calc step by step again (after doing a few more questions on the topic) and came up with the same number. Thank God! I have to write out these questions step by step or I get overwhelmed. I don't feel so confused anymore, these are easier than I thought 🙂

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

For people who have taken FAR before. I'm only about 60% complete with my CPAExcel study materials but I'm taking the exam this Thursday. Stupid, I know. What percent is qualitative to quantitative? Will my bachelors (currently in MACC) be enough to help me overcome what I haven't reviewed yet? As you can see, I'm becoming a nervous wreck, but don't want to postpone it because ‘what if…'

Licensed NH CPA as of July 2015

    AUD - 74 (Oct '13), 84 (Jan '14)
    FAR - 79 (Feb '14)
    REG - 61 (May '13), 81 (Aug '14)
    BEC - 79 (Nov '14)

I had a colleague ask this to me and I thought it was a joke.

Which of the following is not an underlying, according to ASC Topic 815:

    • An interest rate index.

    • A security price.

    • An average daily temperature.

    • The other three choices could each be an underlying.

Please explain to me why in the world “an average daily temperature” is an underlying factor? The answer here is D (the last one.
