    @jasonrobins, I have and was surprised at how different it was than what I was expecting. I'm taking it for the second and hopefully last time tomorrow. I'm so exhausted I don't even know what to really do since I just feel like I'm in a daze at this point. Cross your fingers!

    I'm having a hard time studying. Too excited. Got a new car today to replace our 12 year old Civic. It will be so nice to have two cars that fit our whole family!!! Not nearly as exciting as a promotion, but I'm happy. Yayyyyy TeeTee!! Congratulations!!

    In the solution to this problem, why aren't they adding the transaction on Nov 4 on land, which they bought for $350,000?

    OMG, these AICPA questions on the back of the Wiley book are driving my crazy. Here is another question

    How to treat “Change in salvage value of a depreciable asset”

    How to treat “Change in useful life of a patent”

    To me both are change in accounting principle, which even Wiley agrees with me 🙂

    But I think change in accounting principle have an accounting treatment of “prospective treatment” But wiley is saying both should have accounting treatment as “current income”

    They have options to choose from under accounting treatment as follows:

    Current Income

    cumulative effect in current income

    Prospective treatment

    Retrospective treatment

    Restatement of previous periods

    No impact

    REG 81
    BEC 74,65,78
    FAR 79
    AUD 85 DONE!!!
