@tncincy and @adriana – i was studying for REG during busy season last year (at a top 10 firm). It was extremely important to get as much done on the weekends as humanly possible. Also – make sure you have a schedule written out and hold yourself accountable, but also, like Ale said…make it realistic. If you don't get home until 8 or 9pm, only do a couple sections of a chapter instead of trying to get a whole chapter done. If you have flashcards, do those in your downtime (if you ever have any). It was helpful for me to actually work on taxes while studying for REG because it was related, I'm not sure the same will be true of FAR for you all, but if you learn at least one thing at work that you can relate to the CPA exam, that's a win and you'll likely remember it for the exam.
