For SCF under NFP Accounting, Wiley Book subdivides financing activities into 2, such as:

    -CFs from Financing Activities and

    -Other Financing Activities

Do we really need to split financing activities like that?

Dos anyone have a list of specific events and under which funds they go under. I understand what each fund means but anyone have a list of examples?

Like: fixing or building a sidewalk = Capital projects fund.

    FAR - 62 , End of aug 2015
    BEC - 67, 67
    AUD - TBD

Which of the following would most likely have a fund balance of non-spendable inventory?

    a. general fund

    b. capital projects fund

    c. enterprise fund

    d. internal service fund

correct answer: A . I know non-spendable means not in a spendable state. I don't understand why though. If anything I wold think buildings or construction within capital projects fund would be non-spendable.

Non-spendable means its in a non-spendable state such as inventory and you keep inventory in the General Fund because it accounts for the general activities not covered by any other fund.

    Zach, remember non-spendable could only have G & R.

    NUCAR

U has 1-4. All 4 funds under Government Funds have negative balances while GF is the only positive.

    C has 4 > G R a S P

    A has 3 > G S P

    R has 5 > G R a S P P

I've convinced myself not to get confused with 2 Ps. Permanent Funds (PFs) can only be under restricted funds.
