    @Zack & amordiva

    I have 2013 Becker and it shows the seven basic types of fud used by not-for-profit orgaizations. They are the same as amordiva listed!

    It is on page F9-66 & 67

    {R: PASSED!! (I passed one!)}
    {B: PASSED!! (Halfway there!)}
    {F: PASSED!! (1 left!!!)}
    {A: PASSED(I am done!!)}

    I don't know whether I should postpone my test to April or not. My parents are moving this weekend so the next 3 days are going to be me and my friends helping them move. That puts me at not getting back to studying (after today) until Monday. I have only rewritten 1/2 of my 90+ pages of notes and I've only conquered 3 or 4 sections in the WTB MCQs. I am still having trouble with bonds and governmental. I plan on working everyday next week with 3 nights for studying, studying all next weekend and taking off the day before my test to study. Do you think that is enough time to rewrite my notes, work on 1200 MCQs/SIMS and rework any that I get wrong? I'm not sure. I have until next Friday to reschedule my exam to only pay the $35 penalty. Advice please.

    @CPAMommmy – I say take it in Feb still… otherwise you won't get results til May 10… that's in THREE months! I have a vacation next Fri-Mon, so I plan to have all my full notes, all my condensed notes, all Wiley HW, all Ninja Flashcards, and Becker final review down before then and look at stuff the entire time.

    Our power went out at work at noon today and was just about to walk out the door when it came back on! I had checked online and saw that estimated restoration wasn't til 3pm today, and our servers take 3 hrs to restore… so now I'll just study til 3:30pm. Ugh, SO FRICKING annoyed cus it would have been nice to get home and study.

    CPAMommyof3- From what I hear from you on this forum I think you can definitely do it. You are not scared of studying 12 plus hours and putting in the work. You'll find the time to study so just stick in there. I made the mistake of dragging my FAR studying on too long my first time for FAR and failed with a 63. I should have gone into the exam with all the material fresh on my mind. Only a few more weeks and you'll be FAR free.

    In other news… I copied down all the JE's I felt were important for this exam from that link this morning and they already paid off. Sims for Becker F2 were all JE's and I managed to get most of the accounts correctly.

    Anyone have good study hints for temporary differences for taxes? It gets all confusing. I like when someone real explains it. I've copied so much stuff from this thread that has helped!

    Thanks guys! I definitely have no problem putting in the hours and getting down to business. I just worry that it won't be enough between now and then. I think my plan backfired on me of doing the easy chapters first so the hard ones would be fresh on exam day because I'm down to the wire and I'm just not getting bonds like I had hoped. I appreciate the feedback and words of encouragement. @rigouventura–I feel the same way as you which is why I scheduled my exam in February. I really don't want this to drag out for two more months. If only they tested in March. That would have been a perfect amount of time. April is too long, February is too short. Oh well–pushing through and we'll see what happens. I will be continuing my studies after the exam so I can retake at the beginning of April if I need to. Oh to be done with FAR would be a nice dream come true. 🙂

    @samdiego–The only way I can think of it is that permanent differences are those things that will never have a tax impact and everything else is temporary. I think the Ninja Notes example for permanent difference is a tax free Bond and examples from Kaplan are Federal taxes, life insurance premiums for an entity that is the beneficiary, and any fines/penalties that occur from breaking the law. I would think that the question would have to tell you whether or not it was a permanent difference or a temporary one, but I'm not sure. I haven't started my MCQs on that section yet.
