NeverGiveUpCPAMember@kels417 – That's great! I agree with what Insi said as far as a study plan. It's only 22 days, so make the best of every one one of those 22 days. And just as a side note, I've used Becker, Yeager w/Wiley book, WTB, and Gleim. The only time I've scored “stronger” in the SIMS is when I used Gleim. It works the best for my study style. So study the way that works best for you. You can do it! And now you've inspired me to put more effort into my study time! This is my last one too.

KenadaMemberGleim is a good supplement as a test bank to help you with seeing more questions and they have more SIM's to practice from.
The Gleim test bank comes with the book so you can read that if you don't want to read Becker. Its up to you what makes you feel comfortable. I have the Wiley book and I am reading that for REG 🙂
Wiley test bank is great too and just know there will be an overlap between what questions you see in Becker and that in Wiley.

kels417Member@NevergiveupCPA – Gleim is definitely the most difficult of the study programs I have used. I think they challenge you the most, which is great, but can also be exhausting since you (or I at least) don't usually do well on their questions and sims and tend to get down on myself. I have to make sure I don't focus on the %'s and really LEARN. This is it!
@InsiWinsi – I think I will stick to the Becker book because I think it has good material, but just challenge myself with different sets of questions from different study programs.

MintsRGoodParticipant@kels417 Bear down and study like your life depends on it!!!! It sounds like you have a focused plan and are motivated!!!! The WTB will give you more variety. I also have a tendency to memorize questions and get caught up it the % game, so I bounce between the Wiley book MCQs and WTB to keep over familiarly at bay!
Good luck and stay focused!!!!!!!! 🙂
REG: 75 DONE 🙂
AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE 🙂

kels417Member@MintsRGood – i am definitely going to be studying like my life depends on it! I've already gotten an hour and a half of WTB questions in at work. I just started my job and have a lot of free time as most of my department is busy with month end close procedures and getting everything in order for the year end. It has been really slow for me, so now I'm utilizing my time by studying!
It is a bit frustrating because I have been doing well on the questions (and I did before my exam as well). Just wish the performance report told you more of where you struggled. I am guessing the simulations were my downfall, although i felt confident on most of my journal entries and nailed the research. I doubt I'll get my report until after i retake the exam since IL is extremely slow!
Thanks for the post! And I have nothing, but FAR on my mind for the next 22 days!

AnonymousInactive@kels417 – hey question, how did you not lose credit on your exam? I am in the same boat, I lost BEC just now because when I took FAR on 11/26 I failed with a 69. Did you contact the state? I basically had a break down when I found out that I lost a credit and going into busy season with now two exams to pass again is ridiculous. I thought I was done and felt good about FAR, and if I had passed that would have been my last exam.

kels417Member@andrianashch01 – I emailed the Illinois Board of Education on Saturday when i found out that I had failed FAR (my last section also and i failed with a 69 and i felt good too!! what the heck!) and asked if I sat for it again on January 2 (when my first exam will expire), could i keep credit for previously passed exams. The response was “As long as you take the remaining sections on or before the first section's expiration date, you are fine.”
I think different states treat the expiration date differently, so I would highly recommend contacting your state board if it is someone other than Illinois.
