Oops! That is what i am struggling with 2 now. The plan for this pm is to get atleast a basic understanding of that. Bonds r the one thing i have no clue about…i had atleast 3 sims based on bonds last time…and thats why i failed 🙁

Hey all! My bright idea to wait out the snow and let it “melt” so I don't have to shovel backfired. I've been outside all morining. Not only did the 5″ of snow NOT melt away, it melted just enough to form a nice layer of ice across the top. FML.

I got halfway done, the decided it was time to come in and study.

Today I feel lost.

1 full day 3 halfsies and I have no idea what I want to do or focus on. I feel like I should go through and redo all of my homework again, lol. THEN take a practice exam.

Ok, taking the test Tuesday for the first time. Just so I have this correct, in order to take the exam I need to have my NTS + A primary form of ID (Driver's Liscense) + Secondary form of ID (Credit Card with a signature). That's it right? I just have visions of me not having the necessary identification and not being able to take the test. That would ruin my day.

MJP if you have a passport I would take that too, just in case. But at my prometric(s) they always only ask for Driver's License.

Sooo, I have the nicest neighbor in the world. He saw me give up on my driveway and came over with his snow blower an hour later 🙂 Thank God I got over being to proud to accept help 🙂

Now time to vent, I hate that I've done so many MCQ/Sims that I know all of the typos and errors. Why can't Wiley fix these? Ex: “in its year 3 balance sheet, deferred income tax liabilities increased compared to year 3″… wait, what?! I choose option E none of the above because this question makes no sense.

Or there is a sim where the name of the company changes. Company A acquires asset and depreciates using double declining. In year 4 Company B changes to straight line”… um.. Why do I care what company B changes to? Oh the question asks for details about Company B change. Could I please know what Company B started with??? I am so freaking over this bullarkey.

MCLKT – I know what you mean! I hate that, i know none of these answers can be correct!

MJP – Make sure your ID is not expired (silly i know) but I know someone who has an expired license was and they wouldn't let him sit!

Ok i just took an hour break, i was starting to just click answers to finish, and knew i needed to step away, back now and hoping for a good 4 more hours today!

This is the last straw: I emailed Wiley because I am thoroughly confused. I already struggle with deferred taxes. Ok, I typed up a huge rant and then I just found a thread about the exact question! Why hasn't this been fixed!?!?

Hey quick question, whats the verdict on journal entires for SIMS that aren't required.

For example, recording a compensatory expense at grant date. Not entry required, but do you put No Entry required in each entry, or just leave it blank?

@mjp44 – I could be wrong, but the 2nd form of ID might need to be a photo ID (which if your credit card has your picture like some do then that would probably be alright). I always bring in my drivers license, passport, NTS, and an email copy of my prometric confirmation. I know I don't need the email confirmation, but it just makes me feel better going in just in case they were to tell me I'm there at the wrong time/wrong day, and I can be like, well take a look at this!

Sometimes they dont ask for the 2nd form of ID, but I bring it just in case.

@mjp my prometric testing center only asked for my license. I would bring both just in case.

I am going to study about an hour more tonight, then call it a night, relax and watch the Oscars, tomorrow night i will do a few sets of 30 MCQ and then test on Tuesday!

So, I made the two hour journey to my nearest city with a prometric Center.

Checked into my hotel room, supper delivered and time to relax a little.

Test at 8am…..Im gonna go in ANGRY and leave exhausted having put everything I have into this exam!!!!!!

FAR YOU DON”T KNOW ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

well FAR fam, I know I don't post much in here, mainly in other areas of the forum but I have my test tomorrow and I have studied to the point where I feel like I can not remember a thing. This always happens the last couple days before my exams. I am going to review some more notes tonight, get a good night sleep, look over a few key points in the morning and test at 1230. I have an hour drive to the test center and maybe look over a few more things just before the test.

I would love for this to be the absolute last time I have to walk into a prometric center but who knows.
