Okay, honestly, who comes up with these “rules” for equity method and cost method? What crazy rubbish! Why are we taking the “premium” and amortizing it because purchase price is greater than BV? Who decided this? How did someone decide that THIS is GAAP? Lol. I should stop asking “why” and just “do” :-b

    I just had a crazy idea….

I study in my 2nd bedroom/guest room. There is a futon in here, which is currently set up as a bed, we had a guest this weekend….

My crazy idea, if I sleep in here I might be more motivated to get up and study for an hour before work when my alarm goes off…..Is this totally nuts? My husband might finally think I went off the deep end…. thoughts?

He already thought I was crazy when I rode the subway with no destination to get more time reading NINJA notes……

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

@LSNYC – I've slept in my office for the exact reason. Only I was on a fold out foam chair that my daughter uses when she has a guest over. It's like 4 ft long, lol. But it worked! I studied in the morning πŸ™‚ (though, I'm single, so maybe not as insane? at least there was nobody around to judge, lol)

    @LSNYC,

Not a crazy idea after all.

So far, I had studied in: garage, walk-in closet (today I brought in that same walk-in closet one of the beach/camping chairs).

And volunteered to take family members around for lengthy appointments where I could wait out and study in the car. Haha! and riding subway, in my case train, to no particular destination had also been a practice but not for the CPA exam.

“Just got done with a 3 mile run.” That or long mindless walks coupled with hot shower and tiger rub afterwards. Takes away all worries of the day πŸ™‚

Goodluck @peetree. I'm getting nervous that my exam is coming up next week, i just don't want to freak out on exam day lol. On another note how would you guys compare the questions from the wiley software to the exam it self? A lot of people said the exam questions are easier than the review material. Can someone shed some light on this. It'll make me feel better lol.

CPA1fresh – Everyone will have different opinions here on that. I took a full practice exam in AUD 3 days before my real test. Scored a 90 in Wiley scored a 97 on exam day.

    Time for Framework review….

Lol @MCKLT, I have nothing to show, sadly! Didn't get much done in framework.. Read a bit, but my eyes are getting tired…was aiming to go until 1:30 at least but I am not retaining anything so I think its time to call it a night for now. Good luck to you

I think my biggest weak area is cash flow/ accrual to cash basis and vice versa. Back on the grind tomorrow
