Hi FAR FAM, exam is scheduled for Feb 27, I dont wanna change it because I have been on this road before. wrapping up chapter 5 tonight, and moving to chapter 6…I have 11 days to finish at least 4 chapters, the only challenging topic will be govt accounting but I am pretty sure, I can cover this. Wishing everybody a strong will to overcome.

I was nervous about Bonds(Chapter 5) but it seems me & bond have now bonded so well, just needed to do some last minute touches before the exam date. I just have to keep telling myself to remember straight line interest method is different from effective interest, looks like I have been jumping to questions and realized that i was asked to use effective interest rate.

Happy studying and keep the momentum high!

I am in a rut!!!!! tax season started with a bang….financially, I need a bang not complaining at all , but I have not studied since Monday, January 27th. I feel really bad. I know will not be ready for far on the 23rd. I would have to put on mega jets to cover a lot of ground in less than a month. Wow what a difference a week can make. Help me far fam…..I got to get out of this rut or I will have to wait till April. If I have to wait, I will have to study for two parts Far and Reg. Oh I don't know what to do.

@tncincy I say to fight it out and get FAR done this month. Remember the information is really wide but on the exam it's just an inch deep. Also do you really want to study REG and FAR in the same window, I can't imagine that lol. Btw is this your final review?

Sadly, I passed out at 9:30 but was able to finish re-writing ALL of my ninja notes. I'm gonna try to get through my re-work of F4 & F5 HW and Sims today.

Its getting so close to exam day. I've got a nervous excited feeling going on.

Also, does anyone else feel like their past self was just an idiot? I'm re-working questions and can see my prior statistics to see if I ever got a question wrong. Some of the ones I got wrong previously now have answers that seem so obvious. I'm pretty sure peetree 1 month ago was an idiot.

Finally got my passing AUD score this morning and got a fire under me to get on with FAR. I wasn't sure if I could make it by the end of February, but I'm gonna try my damndest, really don't want to wait until April.

I was so excited to get out of AUD and into FAR since I'm mostly a tax and bookkeeping accountant, but all this bond/pension/government accounting stuff is driving me crazy. I don't really feel like it's over my head, just that it's like trying to drink from a fire hose…
