I am a little late to jump on this boat again. I am retaking FAR this testing window (still need to pay and schedule). I did not pass this last window (72) and also did not pas AUD (71). My confidence was badly shaken and I took time off for the Holidays. I eased into studying this week, reviewing the first chapter, listening to one video (I am using Yaeger) and feel more confident. Goal for this week is to complete a mini review and take a baseline practice Exam on Wiley test bank. I will attack the topics from weakest to strongest. Next week is payday and I hope to be able to purchase my FAR retake (still have some Christmas bills…lol)

I pulled my Performance Report and it was not as painful to look at. Framework and Standards as well as Financial Statements and Accounts were the 2 areas I scored weaker. I thought there was an expanded version of the content areas that covered all the individual topics under the main topics. Does anyone else know what I am talking about and where to find it?

Thanks for the input guys! I really like the idea of studying elsewhere, that could be a good plan! I might try that starting Monday.

well i think its time to stop the studying. Test time 8am tomm morning. I have done all i can do. Just finished with doing the AICPA practice test. I pray that i get sims like those. Goodluck to anyone else taking tomm. I will update everyone on what i thought when i get back from the test.

Well, I'm done with FAR for now and hopefully forever. Posted my experience in the other thread. I would make sure you have IFRS differences down and not to neglect F2 in Becker. Good luck to everyone else taking it this window.

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!
