Just a quick question before I dive into another progress test:

After taking Becker Final Exam #1, I saw that for some of the J/E simulations, I got points off for not having J/E in order. For example, if the answer was: (totally made up J/E haha it doesnt even make sense but for my point to illustrate…)

Dr. AccumD X

Dr. Expense X

Cr. Cash X

Cr. Equip X

I reversed the order for Accumulated Depreciation and Expense, but the numbers were each correct but Becker took it as all wrong because it wasn't it “order” with their answer system. Does anyone know if the actual exams take these into account? Or is there a secret way of listing journal entries that everyone knows and I don't know about?

I am retaking FAR on the 28th. My plan is to go through all of the MC and then really see what I need help in. I already know that I need help when it comes to bonds (discounting, etc), stock options, government, and one other section. My hope is that I can eliminate some of the sections (I am using CPAExcel so each major section is broken down into smaller ones) and only have a few that I need to hit heavy.

@hello_soll I was wondering the same thing. I think thats so dumb if you lose points for the wrong order. Real world no one cares as long as the numbers match. I have a hard time enough with JE yet alone remembering the order.

I work in tax for a public accounting firm and I have decided that I MUST go to my local library to study straight after work. Studying at home doesn't work as well as it used to because I am now married and just because of all the inherent distractions that exist at home.

It's amazing how the cleanliness of my bathroom mirror can magically become so distracting when it's time to study lol

Just got my NTS this morning…Feb. 9th is booked so I had to go with Feb. 16th.

Just took the 2nd practice test and got a 74 in total. Last time i took the practice test back in september before my test i got a 62. With my test in the morning I am starting to feel confident. Time to relax, not stress, and review week areas.

ya they are extremely hard. I have been scoring in the low to mid 80's on 90 question progress test so i thought I would take it to see some different problems before my exam tomm morning. I just want that 75 so bad so I never have to look at the becker again.
