    Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

    I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

    So my test is this Saturday. I went through the Wiley book, did the MCQs suggested by Yaeger. I have spent the last month on the Wiley test bank. I try to understand what I have gotten wrong. Save those questions, review them again later. II would say that the last couple of weeks I have been going through my flashcards and marking off the ones I tend to forget.

    I feel like I have been preparing and preparing… and yet I am getting 65-80 on Wiley test bank quizzes…. My test is on Saturday.. Ugggh. Don't know how much more my brain can hold on to!! Anyone have any advice on what I should focus on the next few weeks?

    Lpenaloza..call Phil Yaeger and ask him what to do. I talked to him 3 times before my test last week. He called me each time. He even gave me his personal cell. He quizzed me in certain topics to make sure I was ready. He asked me journal entries. He asked me how I felt about different topics. Very awesome!!! He even gave me the FAR cram for free!!! He will give you lots of tips! Also, you can ask him anything! He is very easy to talk to!

    Help meeeeeeee!!! I finished the FAR lectures for Roger around the end of April. Straight lectuers with only the hw at the end. I felt if I did lecture, hw (wiley), lecture, hw…I wouldn't have enough time. I am now using Becker MCQs and wiley MCQs, Ninja notes and audio and I feel all over the place. At this point there is so much material for me to feel comfy with and I just cant follow any structure bc I have a fear of running out of time. My test is 5/31 and I work FT. This is my last part and I will be heartbroken if I do not pass. I am putting in the time but I don't feel organized. Is anyone out there feeling this way? Any suggestions, comments, prayers will be appreciated šŸ™‚

    Whats up guys,

    So I am finally taking my exam on 16th at 12:30 which is Thursday. I am starting to feel anxiety as the time is approaching. After doing all Becker MCQs 2.5 times I am using freecpa.com and I think there is a perspective that becker misses or doesnt portray on purpose. What do you guys think? I also find them harder than becker questions. What about you??

    I did the majority of the Cpareviewforfree questions and think they helped a good bit. Just be aware that there are a number of errors out there.

    I think cpareviewforfree is good for IFRS question practice. Also repetition helps to memorize formulas

    @Casagarber Thanks for sharing that. But what do you think of the level of difficulty? I think it varies from topic to topic but in general it's tougher in freecpa

    @Qlad
    , I agree it was a nice add on under IFRS

    Definitely reccomend looking at the IFRS questions. Cpareviewforfree gives a nice overview of lots of different questions. It gave a different perspective than my study material.

    Anyone have good strategies for converting cash basis to accrual basis?
