Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

Hey guys, I just took my second final, using Becker, I take the exam this Friday, May 10th. You guys should let me know how I should proceed for these past few days based on this score. By the way allocating 60-40 for mcq and sims for first final I got a 75. For the last final though here are my scores

Testlet 1: 23/30 76%

Testlet 2: 26/30 86%

Testlet 3: 22/30 73%

Sims for the different tabs: 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 69( for damn stock options), 100 for research.

Personally I thought the sims were easy for this final, compared to sims on different lectures. And based on my allocation that's 82.5 or so for this final. You can share your thoughts. Thanks

@Strikeforce1CPA your final score is 85% based on what you posted. I think you are in a good shape. If you share how you did on the other exams vs other exams practice test, that would help to evaluate

Hey Guys!!!

I did take my exam on Saturday. Here is my experience.

Testlet 1: Was surprisingly easy. I think I only flagged 2 questions.

Testlet 2: Was wordier with more calculations. Think I flagged around 5 but some of those were just do to the questions being super long.

Testlet 3 was easier than 2 but harder than 1. Flagged about 4.

Sims. The research was insanely easy. For the rest. Lots of JEs. Only had 1.5 for the Sims and I felt a little rushed. Ran out of time while finishing my last Sim. Hope it was pretest. My first sim ate up a lot of time as there were multiple tabs of data to sort through. I sat next to a SUPER loud typer which was pretty aggravating. My exam was pretty concentrated. For 3 of the big topics I only had 1 question each. Anyways, I feel ok but don't want to get overconfident. We will see on the 22nd. Good luck to you guys who are taking the test in the next few days. You can do it!

Hey @gchantur, Thanks.. I have only taken auditing & attestation, n I scored an 87, exactly the score of my last final on Becker( don't know if I calculated that right even lol). So this will be my second section, i hope it goes the way of audit. When are you seating for FAR?

@monty I'm taking on the 31st and just started chapter 8 today. Plan on finishing it tomorrow and hopefully getting chapters 9 and 10 done by the weekend. I have been doing all mcq, but am waiting to do the simulations. Have also been taking progress tests!

Thought I'd check in w/ you guys. Scored a 74 the first time around on FAR. Took a month later, not really any more prepared, got my score back last week – got an 82.

Just confirms my thoughts. For most of us, you do what you can to get into the “pass zone”. Then, you take it. Test day and the roll of the dice SIMS will tell the tale. My point being all the stewing over this test does you no good.

It does no good for sure, but hard not to do it. I've decided to get a massage tonight. Totally against my full study till exam day plan, but I'm super achy (never like this in my life) and in pain at this point so I figured it will get me re-energized for the remainder of my review time.
