Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

    Aud- 11/28/12 (72), 02/27/13 (72), 04/06/2013 77!!

F2 MCQ section is a bear. As mentioned already, work through it and then move on. You'll feel a lot better once you rework the questions at a later date. Do intermittent progress tests over F2 throughout your study to help. You'll see some of the same concepts in F5 and F10 again (maybe another chapter too, I can't recall). Don't fret about it too much this early on; you've got plenty of time to hammer the concepts.

    BEC: PASS
    AUD: PASS
    FAR: PASS
    REG: PASS

    Thanks @bcjasper09

I just put in over 12 hours of practice today, including the first Becker final exam (averaged 89%) but not satisfied with my MCQ performance all below 75%. It probably has 95% to do with the fact that I'm just so tired! Final exam 2 tomorrow and the real deal on Friday, then some well deserved rest on the weekend.

    AUD 01/17/2013 (92)
    REG 02/28/2013 (85)
    FAR 04/26/2013 (85)
    BEC 05/30/2013 (88)

Hello people, Who's in for a power night? 3 days ago I started to redo HW MCQ's and I did 350 questions.

This is my second round and one Here is the chart:

    Chapter 1: 1st try 71% 2nd try 87%

    Chapter 2: 1st try 64% 2nd try 85%

Please let me know if this is normal and if you are doing better when you are on the second run. I want to be done reworking all MCQ's by May 1st. It will be a work! Also, what do you guys think, Becker Final Exam vs Real FAR for those who experienced it, or have heard about it?

    Good luck ya'll

    FAR - May 16th --- 83
    AUD - August 2nd --- 81
    BEC - December 2d --- 76
    REG - February 10th---77
    Ethics - February 23rd - 98

I'd say that for the second time around you should be averaging around 80-90% on the MCQ's. Personally I don't like to dip into the 80's but its all how comfortable you feel about the questions. I take the Becker final exams but I don't know that I take too much stock into them. They are good for some more multiple choice practice but when I took AUD I remember not doing so hot on the Final Exams… and than getting to the test and scoring a 99, so its really nothing determinative. I would say do them for extra practice, and also to help with time management. I am no expert so anyone else feel free to chime in.

Goal: Finish F8-F10 by tomorrow and take Final Exam 1… GO!

I think what bcjasper said is very true. These final exams are good for practice.. just do them as u would in the real exam …you will know how to handle time and will be less stressed out in the real exam…Other than that, if your concepts are clear, you will get it…that is why practicing more MCQ will help to solve at a speed and do short- cuts.

    FAR 72,71,81 🙂
    AUD 64,71, 72, 75 🙂 I'm done !!!
    REG 73, 74, 74, 84 🙂
    BEC 76 🙂
