Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

@gchantur I actually thought there were more conceptual questions than calcs…I'd guess maybe 60-70% conceptual per testlet but its hard to remember. I used both sides of my boards but wrote a bunch of notes to myself and formulas I could remember. I thought conceptuals were easy too.

hey gchantur, looking though the calendar, my average is an 82%, but for a few chapters i quickly redid the questions i failed the first time so that probably helped the average. Have you already booked your date at prometric?

and for the progress tests, dont think ive done one since chapter 8, anyway id say i score an average of 85

@Strikeforce1CPA sounds good. So you are not redoing ones you miss? anyway, I wish you the best of luck. I just feel like Progress test is not giving the most realistic picture because some of the questions, I simply recognize and it just becomes unlike CPA exam. I do not think I'll recognize any questions on the actual exam. At least that's what I think, but I never know until I experience it. Good night ya'll

yeah i felt it was slowing me down, if i got 70% n up the first time i just move on, knowing I read the explanations and hoping it sticks. actually doing one progress test now, things seem a bit foreign lol. hate this
