Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

Sharp..thx for the the info I had known the cash to accrual rules but was trying to apply it to both cash to actual and accrual to cash not thinking it would be different. Makes sense. Thx for your help!

Hello FAR fam,

I just wanted to share my standing and see where you all are at. I am using Becker self study and have gone through every singe chapter. I am going over chapters 3,4,5,6,and 7 again with lecture, HW, sims, and progress test and hope to take exam in early May. I have been scoring from 60-75 on HW MCQs on the first try but obviously reqorking everything until done. I was wondering how you guy are doing on MCQ HWs. I have been doing progress tests after every chapter and in I have scored at least 78% to as high as 93% twice. I will literally be studying every day until May 10th and I am expecting to be done with the rest of the 5 chapters by April 20th, after which I will have 2.5 weeks to rework every MCQ and complete two exams and multiple progress tests. my main question to you is about my performance over HW and progress tests. I appreciate you taking look at my post. Good luck everyone!!!!

gchantur… it sounds like you are doing well with your MCQ's. You are in the range people will generally say to be in. I wish I was doing as well as you! Just try to stick with your schedule.

How much you got to complete on SIMs and just in general how much time you put in. Also, what material you have used. I would be glad to answer any questions myself.

I am starting in June and that is why I have all the time to prepare for it. I know I am fortunate to have time to study, therefore I want to tackle FAR.
