Welcome aboard CanPass and Mtaylo! I'll be sitting for this at the end of next month and I'm beyond nervous for this thing already since it's my first exam.

I did not pass bec and it was my second attempt. Any advice on how to review for bec and start studying Far at the same time.

How would you calculate the quarterly diluted EPS if the question states that nobody converted during that quarter?? Also, would you calculate 25% of the preferred dividends since you're doing this on a quarterly basis?

this group has been a bit too quiet :). Is it because we are all studying? Im up to chapter 4. switched my time to 2 hours in the morning and 3 at night. Im hoping this will be ok.
I'm having serious problems with sleep, i cant stop thinking about FAR….

@yhanalla, I remember getting one of the SIMS on diluted EPS. I was struggling with the computation. I think we really need additional focus on SIMS with the new format.

@eltoromodesto Totally agree especially that SIMS are 50% now with the new format and in my opinion they're not hard to tackle.

Hey all, Im back in here as well! Still on Chapter 1 sitting in May. Really need a pass otherwise I may lose BEC. 🙁 I feel like I will never be able to conquer this BI*CH. Excuse my use of language.

Quick question guys, my becker expires in few days.. luckily I applied for Becker promise should I use that or should I switch to something else? I just dont know if becker is “working” for me at this point. I will have to fork out about 200 bucks on my own.. Any other materials out there that are in that range? I know Gleim is a possible contender…Suggestions?

@Spartans92 – so one year later here we are again huh? lol, this totally sucks! anyhoo, for you, i'd move on… maybe try Roger bc it's only like $400. i know it's over your budget but you are only one away with plenty of time to pass. but then again, do you need another review course? you might just need more MCQs/SIMs…

@spartans92 You can try the wiley trial for 14 days. Its 150 if you like the testbank. When are you sitting? I think the biggest thing with this section is to take your time.

@claudi…I believe you have to weight issued shares not authorized shares. Someone correct me if im wrong…I'm two weeks rusty
