    to all who are using Rogers, are you guys following his planner or have your own schedules?

    @Zara

    I didn't follow his study planner, but I did use it as a reference for my own since some of the bigger FAR sections were broken up into two day parts.

    I'm using Becker, but for what it's worth, I have followed the schedule up until this point. What's odd is the amount of review time that Becker is suggesting. In the old version, I know the review portion was about a month if you are studying over 2-3 months, but with the new version it is only scheduling about 2 and a half weeks. I definitely do not think 2.5 weeks is enough review time considering how fast we go through the material and how much there is to know, so I am going to crank it up a notch and complete more than one module a week and try to have a month to review.

    Is anyone else studying using the new Becker content and find that the interface is not very user friendly? It's frustrating to navigate through now.

    @shawc21 its an upgrade aesthetically, but it definitely does not flow as well compared to the old format. You get used to it though; it's just frustrating that there isn't an online text, you have to go to each individual lecture to see the pages and highlighting.

    @Cmrn89 yeah I agree with you, they focused on aesthetic upgrades. ah I have noticed about the text yet! That's something I heavily utilized within the old version.

    One thing I like is the updated sections. Well, presumingly they did it because of the updated tested material. But they essentially got rid of the hodge-podge random of chapter 10 stuff and incorporated into the other chapters seemingly.

    Hope all of the changes help me pass this time haha!

    @007 yeah that's something I was a bit concerned with because for some topics I might not be able to finish all the TBS and sims in one day, I might need another. Did you use Roger for all the other sections, your scores are awesome … and also when/how did you incorporate Ninja with the Roger program?

    @automn3 There are progress tests, I just found them! You have to go into the individual chapters (i.e. FAR 2), and it looks like you can do practice sets of F1 and F2 problems. So when you get to F10, you can do practice problems of all 10 chapters. It took me a while to figure out the layout of this new Becker.

    @curlygirl1213 thanks! I was worried about that because I depend on my progress tests to show me where to focus my review.

    I was supposed to take my exam March 8, but I pushed it out to April because I felt I wasn't ready. I switched to new Becker and I'm starting all over from the beginning. I miss the ebook! But I can still log into old Becker, or use my old Becker app on my phone to see it.

    I like that if I do well on pre-assessment questions, then I can skip the lecture for that section! Woo!

    Can someone please let me know from their experience. Are there many questions focused on IASB Accounting Standards? Not sure if I should focus on it in my Wiley CPAExcel review course. Trying to trim the fat.

    @rpallarino IFRS is a hot topic on the exam. Don't be surprise if you get a few question per testlet or a sim on it. Gonna have to know the difference on how things are treated under IFRS and GAAP.

    Hi All – I've started prepping for FAR. I'm taking a live Becker course with the famous Liliana Hickman. Hoping to pass on the first go 🙂

    You will not get the same test as others. As long as it listed in the content listing it is fair game.
