Thanks MrsTerrell. It will help.Just hoping they don't give to prepare cash flow using direct method and then reconcile like indirect method and pass JE for adj.I will need 60 minutes to solve this type of nonsensical SIM.

How I envision the AICPA's feedback following my score release:

I have not been posting to thread as I only had this month to study so I have been super busy. But as I read all the test takers experience my anxiety is just going through the roof but the youtube video made laugh outloud lol. I spent most of the month watching Rogers 30 something topics and ended up behind. I wanted to two weeks of mcq non stop and ended up with only 3 days. I just have been selecting a set of the “mostly” tested items praying for the best. Now it seems i should just do the other topics. All I know is there is no way of passing tomorrow and my audit score expires 10/04. :(. I'll be studying all summer trying to squeeze in another try before 10/4.

I'm sorry to all those have tested and good luck to all those testing tomorrow.

@Beantown23 – OMG completely agree about the adjusting JE and preparing fs comment. That is exactly how all my SIMS were… complete joke – so time consuming.

@sydney how do you think you did? There were a lot of spaces that I had to leave blank because I didn't feel it needed a je, I might have put zeros I don't remember. Hope it doesn't affect me.

I spent too much time trying to make sure I didn't miss anything that I didn't realize I was on the 2nd to last testlet…. and I didn't realize it until the time was up. Such a Major fail and I am so upset about it because it was such a stupid mistake.

I left a lot of spaces blank too… I didn't put zeros unless it told me it needed zeros because when I was doing practice SIMS if it told me I needed zeros I would get it wrong if I didn't put them in the space – otherwise it was correct. I think that may be an advantage with points received because I feel like a lot of the spaces were blank.

Either way – I screwed myself over by not finishing the 3rd testlet. :/

Sorry to hear Sydney_Omar ,let us hope 1 SIM was pre-test in last testlet.

WOW! those simulations are crazzyy! I had 5 DRS. too much to read in so little time. :(((((( and a couple of parts that I had no idea what they where asking, its annoying the time spent trying to figure it out.

yea, you had to leave in blank the ones that were correct

If they count blank spaces correct and zeros incorrect that would be ridiculous. I read somewhere that only correct entries count toward your score and the sim is weighted based on how likely someone could guess on it. I think this test is difficult enough without all these unknowns. It's really almost unbelievable how many unknowns there are relating to this exam. No other professional exam has this many gray areas

@Beantown23 – I completely agree. I wanted to cry but at the same time just wanted to throw all my books out from the window when I got in my car. I can NOT even believe they have the SIMS that elaborate on the exam. There is not way in earth to finish this exam and be thorough at the same time. How are you supposed to pay attention to detail – which is an important aspect of this exam – when you are forced to rush through it. Then to top it off they made this exam 50/50 MC-SIMS and didn't increase testing time. I just kind of wanted to give up when I saw the first SIM because I remember thinking there is NO WAY I can figure this out in 25 minutes much less read through all of it before that time.

@Wannafree – Thank you! I know! Can they please change this test back to how it was before?!?! Time management is a huge issue.

I actually didn't mind the sims being longer and more detailed…The biggest crime was seperating the sims into 3 tabs. If they were all on one tab, i would have been good!

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

@sydney it sounds like we got the exact same sim section. Mine were so rough I was praying for DRS just for the time saving. The sims I had were like DRS in the fact that there was multiple docs to go through, but then it was the difficulty of knowing which adj to use and where. Ugh just a rough day.

@Beantown23 – yeah I know when I read through your comments I felt like we had the same SIM section, too. I thought the DRS I had were way easier… and took a lot less time. The Adjusting entries were complicated because the memos gave you information and you had to basically figure out where they originally applied the entry and adjust from there as well (if I am remembering correctly). I remember equity question adjustments/R&D capitalized or not… But I went through all of my review material afterwards and the SIMS to see if I could find any similar SIMS where you actually had to go back and make adjustments and I couldn't find any that were similar to the ones I took on the exam. :/
