Hi guys, I feel like FAR is got a whole lot of information. It takes me a week to get through a chapter. I feel like I don’t have enough time to study if I am planning to take FAR in April. Usually, how long does it take for you to go through a chapter? I am currently in F4 now. I already feel like I am forgetting previous lectures. It is so horrible. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I'd say a chapter a week for FAR is good. You just have to make sure you keep reviewing the previous chapter. Work one or two chapter then review a bit. Couple more chapters, then go back and review a bit. This is where the Wiley test bank came in handy for me. I would do the normal Becker course and then I would supplement (review) the past chapters with Wiley testbank. I did this a lot on my phone when I was away from my study materials. You should be fine if you are testing in April. You are almost half way done as it is, right?

Hi Minimorty,

Thank you for your advice. Do you think I should get wiley supplementary material too? I am currently making my own flashcards for each lecture. When I am off the computer, I'll take a glance of my flashcards once a while. I thought Becker alone would be enough. It looks like many of you have some supplement reviews other than Becker. I probably should shop around too.

@LP – I utilized the online Wiley testbank a lot. It was good to mix it up from the Becker materials (different presentation, different wording, etc.) and I could use the testbank anywhere on my phone. Its pretty cheap (less than $100 per section) so I think it is a no brainer. I actually didnt know about Wiley prior to my FAR exam, but I used it for all three of my other sections. I'd recommend getting it. Becker is great and I have nothing but good things to say about Becker. I just think supplementing with something else helps as well.
