I got to sit in on this sparring session on Friday night.
Was very interesting.
My review course did offer a select few questions and SIMs with explanations, but they were very few. And no chance for audience particiation.
If I had a question I didn't understand I was stuck emailing support to get an answer like we aren't CPAs and don't take the CPA exams, which is what lead me to this specific forum in the first place.
This sparring session was a brief recap or outline of the topic, and then lots of questions, with thorough explanations as to why the answer was right or wrong, as well as pointing out certain phrases or wording that is designed to trip up the candidate. Those pro-tips alone can be invaluable on exam day.

Overall I was impressed. I can definitely see the value in attending these sparring sessions if I were still taking the exams.
Worth checking out for all you dojo members. Nice little bonus to the Ninja program to set them above the competition.
