I got my FAR score. I sat for the exam on July 7th, and I just found out i passed with a 79! Praise the Lord.

BEC - passed!

Congratulations!!! Could you tell me how long it took to post to the IL board of examiners after NASBA released? Is it pretty quick? Don't need exact days/hours.. just curious.. I'm waiting on REG

Check out NASBA's Twitter page and see when they posted that scores were released. I think it was yesterday sometime. The last few days I was checking a couple times a day for my score and it wasn't up last night, but was up this morning around 11:15. So it seems like maybe a day or so.

You'll probably be in wave 2, or if you're lucky, there will be a few more scores released for wave 1 and you'll be in there.

I took FAR on Aug 4 as an IL candidate and still waiting for score. Maybe they will release today another FAR batch and we will see our score tomorow morning.

I got mine yesterday afternoon. I called the Board of Examiners twice (once in the morning, one in the afternoon) and was told both times that they had FAR scores they were still uploading. I don't really know how long it takes to upload scores, but it seems to take awhile. It also seems like the “official” releases by the AICPA as indicated by NASBA are not the only releases.

evaianos – When I called NASBA and said I was from IL, she told me to call IL and wouldn't give me any info. Guess the people at NASBA don't all get the same customer service training. And I wonder if they read this and see people complaining about them.

I got my FAR score. Failed for four time.

74,71,72,72. I dont know what else to do to pass this exam. My next exam is monday at BEC. Iam taking BEC for second time (first time I failed, 71) . I belive that I will never pass this exams and I am thinking to give up now.

You're SO CLOSE!!! How have you been studying? I found that doing MCQ's over and over and over again was the most helpful. I used Gleim and did the whole review course and then spent all my review time doing MCQ's and reviewing the answers for the ones I got wrong. I didn't do that much review of the outlines but just reviewed the stuff I felt uneasy on. I think doing MCQ's over and over and over is the most beneficial once you get through all the material.

I dont know how to aproach this exam. I ll move forward and do my best monday at BEC. After BEC I will decide what else I can do.

DO NOT GIVE UP!!

I am on the same boat! I scored between 72-74 multiple times on FAR too. I finally passed FAR with 75! All you need is a 75. You are so close! You just need to find out your weak area and pick up few more points there.
