I’m having a difficult time understanding Sales-Leaseback transactions. Does anyone remember seeing a lot of questions on the exam on this topic? I understand leases and bonds but for some reason either the Becker Material doesn’t do a good job teaching it or I just can’t comprehend the topic. Let me know your thoughts.

not a lot though but you never know because if you are not well prepared for a topic then there are a lot of chances you will see questions from that topic.

Wiley was great for preparing for FAR to me. You are right. Sales-Leaseback transactions were difficult to understand. I took FAR three times and most of questions on lease were about operating and capital lease transactions. I have not seen many questions but a few on Sales-Leaseback but you should know at least what it is. You never know…..!

That would be a nasty simulation topic. I wouldn't put it pass the examiners though.
