I’ve read F1-F10, and have done all MCQ’s once. I have not touched SIM’s yet.

My review plan consists of the following:

Day 1: Read all of FAR to refresh my memory. Yes I can do it.

    Day 2: F1-F4 (2nd time)

    Day 3: F5-F7 (2nd time)

    Day 4: F8-F10 (2nd time)

Day 5: (If the above takes 1 more day) If not, move everything up one day, and add an extra day of Progress Tests

Day 6: Do all SIM’s & go over them.

Day 7: Progress Tests (Ill try to hit 500+ questions)

Day 8: Progress Tests (Ill try to hit 500+ questions)

Day 9: Progress Tests all day & review all the Becker flashcards at night

Day 10: Take Final Exam 1 then go over it & then take Final Exam 2 at night and review it.

    Day 11: ** EXAM DAY **

Yes it is intense.. and yes I am serious about this. I will murder FAR. Is there anything else I should focus on? I was originally going to try and fit all of Wiley Test Bank questions into my schedule, but I realized that Beckers questions/answers really hit all the points for the previous exams I have taken. I mean, I would really want to do Wiley.. but im not sure if I should do them instead of Progress Tests…

Any advice would be appreciated.. Good luck guys!

Lol you probably have the record for starting FAR freak-out threads. Anyway, I think your plan is pretty solid. At this point, don't bother doing anything with Wiley. Trust Becker, you're in good hands.

Haha I realized something last night. I looked through threads I've started and noticed a reoccurring pattern.. Every exam I take I start quiet a few threads saying how (BEC,REG,FAR) whatever exam I am currently studying for is the HARDEST and that I can't do it.. and end up scoring in the 80's.. I just really get stressed out.. This is why I started a FAR take down schedule thread this time instead of a freakout thread haha

But, I have come to the conclusion that I have a good 10 days to redo everything! I remember the majority of the stuff, as in the bigger picture, but I want to spend a day reading to remember the smaller details & IFRS. Its going to be a long 10 days.. thats all I can say. I guess I will just keep doing Becker until my eyes start bleeding.

Thanks, and congrats on passing all 4!

One thing that helped me during my studying for FAR was to make a list of all the J/E's and formulas. Then as part of my final review, I made sure I could recreate the J/E on my own ( actually write it down versus just reading over it). Also make sure you review classifications for things like the cash flow statement, etc. (I'm not familiar with Becker, so maybe that's part of the flashcards you're going over?).

Well looks like I have changed my mind. Since there is so much detail in this damn book… it looks like i'm going to be doing this:

    Day1: F1/F2 Read/MCQ/SIMS

    Day2: F3/F4 Read/MCQ/SIMS

    Day3: F5/F6 Read/MCQ/SIMS

    Day4: F7/F8 Read/MCQ/SIMS

    Day5: F9/F10 Read/MCQ/SIMS

    Day6: Progress Tests

    Day7: Progress Tests

Day8: Becker Flashcards, Final Exam #1

Day9: AICPA Questions, Final Exam #2

Day10: Shoot myself in the legs to take away the pain after completing the exam.

I agree there is so much detail. My first 2 sections i took the live class and they emphasize questions questions questions. I feel like reading the book is important but i do not want to be wasting countless hours reading the book either. It takes me a long time to get thru some of the questions. I have put in about 12 hours today and am exhausted.

    Audit - June 2012: 80
    Reg - August 2012- 82
    Far- October 6 2012 - 71. Retake Jan 2013 - 76
    Bec- December 7 2012: 78

    Finally Done

@proach33 – Good God!!! 12 hours?! Its funny.. with REG & BEC I would do 12-15 hours a day.. as I started studying for AUD.. it went downhill.. with FAR.. hahaha its down to 4-5 hours a day.. Im exhausted.. But I am not giving up! I think I pick up small details when reading the book.. and I think reading it a second time ill move much faster and be able to do 2 chapters/day as well as the hw/sims. *HOPEFULLY!*

@CashMoney10 – At least I wasn't complaining this time about it being impossible hahaha

Highlight shit in the book you don't already know. when you read the book again, read only the highlighted parts and the examples you need.

@Sandra – Thats what I plan on doing. Not going to go into detail when reading the book. I just want to read it quickly refresh my mind, and hit the questions for each chapter. I feel pretty good actually.. I mean I feel like I understand the majority of the stuff…
