Yesterday’s score release in CA was painful in many ways including my FAR failing score of 57. I am embarrassed but decided to share my score and get some advise from you guys.
Studied with WileyCPA and passed BEC in March. Started studying FAR in April but was lagging forever – work, family, and such a detailed study material in WileyCPA – and ended up only studying 3 weeks before the exam. Took FAR on 9/7 and I knew I didn’t pass when I walked out of the testing room. But oh boy, 57… that hurts! Only part I did well was Gov& NFP which I studied for 2 days.
Switched to Roger (wasn’t thrilled about spending more money on study material but I really couldn’t stand another boring lecture from Wiley. I will use their test bank though) for my next scheduled AUD exam 11/9. So far, I like it.
Question-
1. My plan was to go with AUD study and take the exam on 11/9 (last day before my NTS expires) as planned and retake FAR later. Should I stick with my plan or get back to FAR study and retake that before I continue with AUD?2. I am planning to purchase other study material for FAR exam and am debating between Roger and Ninja. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for your input. 57 is stuck in my head… I need to shake it off and start fresh!
