    Hello,

I took my FAR exam on 11/30 and found out today morning that I failed w/ 53. Am really disappointed w/ my performance in this part. I think I will have to go back and re-study as though I don’t know anything from financial accounting.

My question is what would be the best re-take strategy? Also, how is Ninja MCQ’s package for SIMS? I used it for AUD, and feel that it was the closest to actual CPA exam in my opinion. Any feedback/opinions on these 2 questions will be really helpful.

    Sincerely,

    rp 12

I would def. say get the NINJA mcq's. It's always best to see as many diff Q's as possible. I feel the sims were good from ninja.

What study material did you use?

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

    @EuroAddict – I used Gleim.

I didn't use Ninja for FAR but I added it for BEC and it helped a LOT. Regarding your retake- For FAR I took detailed notes of my entire Becker book- I didn't use the lectures. I forced myself to rewrite everything in my own words to make sure I at least understood the basic subjects. Then when I practiced the MCQ's I'd write out a JE for any question that could be related to a JE, even if the question wasn't asking for it. I almost feel like it was overkill, but hey, it got me the results I wanted.

I'm on the same boat. I took it on 11/29 and failed with a 67. I took it before once and passed but unfortunately, it expired. I feel like I made such a big mistake taking FAR first, I really should've taken REG first. I used Wiley Q's before and it worked, this time I think my issue was not studying enough. I'm gonna try to study for another 100 hours and just probably do as many Wiley questions I can. Planning to retake it on 1/17 and see how it goes.

    FAR 76(expired), 67, 78
    AUD 66, 79
    BEC 77
    REG 50, 71, 71, 75

    DONE!!
