FAR Q Experience compared with WTB

I’ve read several posts where people emphasize “know your JEs!!” for FAR. However, I’m plowing through MCQs with the WTB and journal entries don’t seem to be much of an obvious factor. For instance, I know “knowing” them is helping me answer the questions, but there don’t seem to be many where I’m organizing or really interpreting entries.

    (A) Do those of you who passed think the WTB sufficiently mirrored the question types on the exam? That is, did you feel prepared?

    (B) Did your need for JE knowledge mirror the exercises the WTB put you through?

I’m in the homestretch (2 weeks) and I’m wondering if the questions, fact nugget compilation, and note review is getting the job done 🙂 Thank you!!

Trust me, knowing JEs is a great advice 😉 can't say much due to disclose thing but I think WTB prepares well for the exam.

There were about 10% of questions on material which was not covered in my CPA review and about 10% I didn't know simply because I couldn't remember. But you do need comprehensive knowledge of GAAP in order to be able to do SIMS.

    I used Roger + WTB.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14
