So I took the two practice tests for FAR this weekend and I did alright on the first one (scored b/t 70-80% on the MC) and poorly on the second test (scored b/t 50-60% on the MC). I take this test tomorrow and I am freaking out!! Has anyone else had the same experience??

The actual FAR exam questions often have an ‘easier' feel to them. I believe its part of Becker's efforts to keep a good name and high pass rate by intentionally providing questions just a little more time consuming and which often require a broader range of knowledge to answer. Becker's makes a concerted effort to test you on what they believe to be ‘everything' of importance. Unfortunately its not…the examiners always find a way to throw monkey wrenches into the exam.

That said, I'd fret less about my scoring on the the MCQ's and take comfort in all that you do know and understand.

I used a Gleim & Collins question book and all of the Becker's MCQ's ans sims for FAR and don't recall one single question being the same on my FAR exam.

You'll either have done your homework and have what I like to call the appropriate ‘tools in your toolbox' or you won't. Just from the little bit I've heard – I'm feeling fairly confident you'll do just fine if you just relax a smidgeon and maybe review the texts on areas you feel maybe you could use a little better understanding.

Hope I'm helpful – I don't always come across as sounding helpful.

I'd wish you good luck but I'm fairly certain “Luck” has little to do with the exam! :o)

id you take pratice tests on the other parts that you have already passed? If so, how practice test score compared to the reat test score? People say they score lower on the Becker final exam that the real exam.

So look at both your personal history and the general feel that people score higher on the real exam than the Becker

    Good luck!
