I set for FAR this Friday, the 28th of Feb. I’ve studied every night & on weekends for the past two months using Becker. I’ve taken both of Becker’s practice exams and scored 75 and 76.

I have also reworked about 900 MCQs within the last 11 days. I plan to keep my focus on bonds, cash flows, & Govt and NFP, and leases, since these areas seem to carry a lot of weight and are good candidates for a sim. I’ve flipped through my text book, in an attempt to dust off some old unfamiliar areas.

In the beginning of my 2 week review, I began by reworking all of the MCQ that I had marked for one reason or another. However, after some serious consideration, I’m wondering if I’d be better off just reworking the performance test included in Becker’s software. Any thoughts, for a stressed out guy who is freaking out during these final hours? Thank you in advance and may you be successful.

Making my own flashcards really helped me. I had about 400 at the end.

I started making them in my final two weeks, when I would go through the chapters again reading my highlighted parts. Then I kept reviewing them every few days, half one day half another. Then on the last day, I reviewed it at night and set aside those I was still unsure of or thought I should review due to their importance. The day of the exam, I woke up a bit earlier and reviewed the ones I set aside. I would definitely look into making your own flashcards. Buy the cheap flashcards on Amazon and just do it.

With regards to performance tests, I'm not sure what that is. I would do 100 question progress tests every day for the last 5 days or so before the exam.
