I set for FAR this Friday, the 28th of Feb. I’ve studied every night & on weekends for the past two months using Becker. I’ve taken both of Becker’s practice exams and scored 75 and 76.

I have also reworked about 900 MCQs within the last 11 days. I plan to keep my focus on bonds, cash flows, & Govt and NFP, and leases, since these areas seem to carry a lot of weight and are good candidates for a sim. I’ve flipped through my text book, in an attempt to dust off some old unfamiliar areas.

In the beginning of my 2 week review, I began by reworking all of the MCQ that I had marked for one reason or another. However, after some serious consideration, I’m wondering if I’d be better off just reworking the performance test included in Becker’s software. Any thoughts, for a stressed out guy who is freaking out during these final hours? Thank you in advance and may you be successful.

FAR - 2/28/14 PASS Praise be to God!
AUD - 7/5/14 PASS Praise be to God!
BEC - 11/29/14PASS Praise be to God!
REG - 2/28/14 PASS Praise be to God!

In the back of every Becker chapter is a comparison of IFRS and GAAP. I tore out every page and stapled them together. These are great notes to review on the day of the exam, because they summarize all of the chapters main accounting rules. Just an idea.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

You should look at the thread that compares Becker practice exam scores with real exam scores. Many of the scores I saw were a 10+ point increase on the actual exam versus what they got for Becker. It sounds to me like you are going to do great!

All this noise about that one final exam… how is that exam more on the money, than any of the 50 other 90 question practice exams I've taken with WTB? I don't think it is, unless I'm missing something. Nobody hits the bottle because their practice tests are low, but for some reason that mythical final exam scares the crap out of people.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

    Dr: luck
    . Cr: . advisory score
