Reading through post, it seems as though these two areas make up a decent sized portion of the exam. I take FAR Aug 30th, but work full time in accounting so i feel like that is really not a lot of time. I am wrapping up F-4 in becker right now…my question is, do you all recommend skipping ahead to those two sections in Becker to ensure i get the most out of them or should i stick to the regular study plan?

Also with FAR, does anyone else feel like you study the stuff, get it, then go back a week or two later and its kind of fuzzy? Between work and this, i feel accounting overload

Stick to the regular plan and pace yourself. Although it is heavily tested, the subject matter is not as difficult as F5-F7. It's basic concepts and not too in depth. For me, I breezed right through NFP and Govt.

In my case, I felt I should have studied NFP and Govt first, then keep reviewing NFP and Govt while doing other area. NFP and Govt were totally new to me. When I reached NFP and Govt, I found they were hard, a lot to memorize. So I postponed my exam date.

I am saving one week at the end to do GOVT so this way its fresh. I didn't find NFP too bad.

Unrestricted, partial, permanent whatever. My hats off to any who passed FAR this part to me is very tough, almost unpassable. I could spend a year and not get it all, so much info.

Wish I was taking Aud or Reg instead. Geez this is tough.

    Reg 11/15/2011 - 80
    Aud 02/28/2012 - 81
    Bec 05/31/2012 - 78
Far 08/31/2012 - 83 Do you believe in Miracles, YES !!!

    Thanks for the feedback.

I will probably end up sticking to the original plan, but pick up my pace so i have at least a full week and the half week before my exam to hit the review hard. I took a Govt/NFP class in my undergrad, but it was a few years back and I really don't remember much from the class, so essentially its learning it all over again.
