    Is anyone taking FAR next week? My exam is on the 15th. After my first try I thought to myself that I wasn’t so terrified to take it, but now I’m super nervous. What’s your plan for the remainder of the week?

    I posted mine in the power weekend thread, but it’s basically to re-read book/notes as needed, redo Becker questions and do some Wily Questions. Review IFRS and NINJA notes next week. Also have to review some smaller arear in Ch.10.

    Anyone else freaking out???

    Hi Tina! I work full-time so I've been here since 7:30 am. The plan is to get home around 5 and dive in. I'm thinking I should be watching important parts of lectures, taking my own notes from the text (and Ninja Notes), and create flashcards. Then focus on MCQs for the week and a half before the exam. What do you think?

    Not sure if my whole attitude is changed, but I'm trying to get my head around my ability to “do it”. Hopefully my confidence will build as I get through each section.

    How is your regimen going?

    Unless you absolutely need it I would not watch the lectures again. Your time is better spent re-reading book/notes and doing mcqs. I was taking a lot of notes while reading the chapters and that helped to understand the material.

    Doing ok. Did around 100 wiley questions last night, but those were the easy breezy small topic ones. I couldn't dive into anything more complex at 10pm. I just feel really tired, my whole body hurts from sitting at work all day and then doing the same at home!

    For those of you doubting yourself and your ability to get past FAR or what ever test you are taking… here is a good quote. I made it the background on my phone when I was studying for REG, my last part.

    “The voice in your head that says you can't do this is a liar”

    I know you are feeling burnt out and that you are sick of studying but you can do this! Dig deep, find that motivation now so you will NEVER have to study it again!

    @smp73,

    Awesome quote. I'll keep that one in mind.

    @Tina,

    I'm only doing the Becker Final Review lectures (about 20-30 minutes per section) that give a brief overview of important points. Most of my time is going to taking my own notes from the text, and I agree that it really helps. I'm seeing some things that I didn't see in my other review sessions for FAR. I wonder if a week and a half is enough for MCQs though…

    I am freaking out. I'm supposed to take it in 3 days. This is my very first section and i haven't been getting over 70% on Wiley and Gleim. So honestly I don't have a lot of hope, but I'm just gonna go in and try my best.

    Just got back from taking FAR…

    The first testlet was pretty easy, the second was pretty hard, and the third I would say was medium, but was the one I had the most questions flagged.

    The multiple choice questions were representative of the material covered in Becker.

    The simulations were 60/40: 60% pretty intense, and 40% comfortable.

    I feel like it could go either way, the waiting is what will kill me with anxiety.

    Hey guys! Checking in. I have FAR on the 17th and I am absolutely freaking out. Finishing F10 tomorrow in Becker, bought the 10 point combo this weekend and starting that as soon as I finish F10. I feel like it's going to take a miracle to pass this exam because there's so much information I couldn't possibly be prepared for. It just seems so ridiculously daunting and I didn't feel like this at all with audit.

    Short of doing like 250 MCQs a day plus SIMs and re-writing the Ninja notes and listening to the ninja audio on loop and hoping it sticks I have no idea what to do. Trying to change my attitude but nothing seems to be providing reassurance.

    I am literally doing nothing but studying right now and then I start two classes next week but that'll only eat up 4 hours a day total for the 4 days before my exam. I just finished an internship in March so I've been taking the time off to be full-time studying and I think I'm starting to lose my mind a little bit.

    I'm back in freak out mode. Don't know how many Wiley questions I can do since I'm redoing all Becker 🙁 Don't know if it will be enough.
