Is anyone taking FAR next week? My exam is on the 15th. After my first try I thought to myself that I wasn’t so terrified to take it, but now I’m super nervous. What’s your plan for the remainder of the week?

I posted mine in the power weekend thread, but it’s basically to re-read book/notes as needed, redo Becker questions and do some Wily Questions. Review IFRS and NINJA notes next week. Also have to review some smaller arear in Ch.10.

Anyone else freaking out???

Yes!!!!! I am planning to take FAR at the end of the month. I spent the power weekend redoing videos to make sure I know what I know. My account is in cram courses post. But the short answer is yes and tempting to change to early July if not for my own security.

@tncincy I would caution about moving it to early July. You do not want to spent too much time studying as you will be at risk of forgetting information you have studied early on.

My exam is tomorrow (yikes..)

I've just been going over flash cards, did the Becker final exams, and doing cumulative progress tests all day. Usually I find a weakness that I have to refer to the book/Google to find out more on, and work from there. Hopefully it'll work!

Man. I'm in the same boat. May 28th and I'm freaking out. I'm going through everything (once again), making my own notes, making flashcards, and doing MCQs. I'm really bad about doing the MCQs though…it's hard to get myself to do it because I get so discouraged by them. I keep reminding myself that I'm learning from the questions…but it really gets me more freaked out when I see something I don't know.

That's it. that's what I am going through. If I see something unfamiliar then I go through the insecurity when doing the mcq's. So I go back to the video's to make sure that I didn't miss something for sure. I know there is no way to get them all right, but I guess I need some type of assurance that I am ready? My stomach is in a knot.

Good to know I'm not the only one! It's very stressful. FAR does something to me and my confidence that I didn't experience with any of the other sections. I never feel sure of anything…

I have BEC in a week, and I am worried that I won't have time to get through everything, but I don't want to postpone it either. Frustrated!

My review is going too slow. I've only redone 70% of Ch3 Becker homework after work. I think re-reading book (rather quickly) is slowing me down too much. I took pretty detailed notes so I think I might just review my notes instead. Plan was to do 3 and 4. Guess I could always move the test but I don't think it's a good idea, one because I already took off from work, and two I think I need to revise my plan and not the test date (and hope it doesn't bite me later on). BTW, I've been studying since maybe March 15, so I don't think I've shortcutted anything (except 2 short topics from Ch.10 that I want to do very last).

Any thoughts?

Yes, it's my last section. I'm dying to be finished. I get what you're saying- can't focus when this is the time I really need to. So burned out at this point. My test is May 28 and I'm hoping through Becker again…only on section 4 🙁

Need a serious kick in the butt…or a pep talk!

If it helps, I kept a print out of the calendar to keep track of weeks, then set up a timer on my laptop for days till exam, and all of a sudden here it is. It's your last section so all I can say is that whatever you don't do today because you're tired/frustrated/whatever you'll regret not doing when you are a week from the exam.

It's almost like sabotaging yourself when it's so close!! Gotta pull it together and push through. I wish I took the whole week off from work but trying to save some vacation days for an actual vacation if I ever finish.
