Anyone have experience with FAR and can provide some insight on the “must knows” of this exam? Running out of time for review and want to make sure I hit the things that are guaranteed to be on the exam.

I haven't taken FAR yet, but government and nonprofits account for about 20% of the exam according to the CSOs, and I think those two areas tend to get overlooked in studying.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

There is not one area more important than another. You basically have to study everything! Good luck!

IFRS, Government, NFP, Bonds, leases, inventory, and stockholders equity are just a few items to be experts on. Go to the wiley test bank or whatever program you're using and look at where there are the most questions or most material is covered. Chances are is that is where to focus on.

    FAR 62, 66, 78
    AUD 66, 55, 74, 72
    BEC 79
    REG

lol, true. This recent thread attempted to get a similar consensus on the most important topics, and it ended up listing just about everything:

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

From what i've read that past year or so about the exam, quite a few people complained about how they were tested over Non Profit a lot more than expected
