Hi guys,

Just wondering medium and difficult testlets, if I do well in difficult testlets, does it mean I get more marks and if so, would it exceed the 60% weight on the exam?

For example, I get 24/30 on the first testlet (medium). Since I did so well, they give me a difficult testlet.

Difficult 2nd testlet = 20/30

Difficult 3rd testlet = 20/30

*assuming 20/30 = 24/30 in terms of difficulty levels.

But instead I get 90/90, so does that mean I get the full 60%? or more than 60% since I am bound to get difficult testlets.

For FAR, MCQ are only worth a maximum of 60% of the available points on the exam. If you get all of the MCQ questions correct, you will get all of the points available to you under the MCQ section which, again, represents 60% of the exam.

Clearly, the MCQ can represent more than 60% of your score, but I dont think that is what you are asking.
