Testing day after.. last section.. freaking out is an understatement at this point.. stomach’s getting huge butterflies just thinking that my exam is less than 48 hours away.. I know it’s normal to feel nervous as I have been for the other sections too.. but this one is special because I don’t know what to expect.. I don’t know how well prepared I am.. usually I’m able to tell atleast to an extent.. but for this section, I just don’t know….

All I know is this is my last section and I need to clear it before I start losing credits… Any last minute tips from you successful FAR beasts? For these last 2 days..? My plan is to just do sims and questions today, and read Non Profit and F10 (Becker), and then tomorrow just go over my mistakes and read some more notes..

Please share your thoughts.. Also, is the score on WTB practice questions a good estimate of your final score on the exam? Or has anyone faced significant differences, either upwards or downwards in their actual exam score?

The day before my exam I was so burnt out on MCQ that I just went through my notes a section at a time. I would study a section then watch a t.v. show, study another section then watch another show. I was purposefully trying to make my day before as relaxing as possible because I was so wound up from studying that I needed to calm myself before the exam. I didn't do any MCQ, which made me a little nervous, but I'm really glad I did it that way. I was destressed going into the exam. The day of I looked over a lot of the memorization items as a refresher. Good luck on your exam tomorrow!

Oh–I took two Wiley practice tests and scored 81 on the first one and 77 on the second one. My score on the real FAR was 81. I haven't seen a lot of 10 point boosts in grades from the practice to the final like you see in the Becker thread, but was okay with my 81. 🙂

Thanks mamabear.. Also wanted to know if the standard of questions – BOTH MCQs and Simulations is the same as in WTB and the actual exam? Or is one easier than the other..?

I think the real SIMS are more difficult, but still doable as long as you understand the concepts. The MCQ were similar to the WTB. Some wordy, some short, some concept based, some calculations.

Is it possible that research questions come from the Glossary part of a topic in the codification? The reason I ask is that there are no paragraph numbers, etc in the Glossary – so I would think that Glossary wouldnt be tested on..?

Research Question is usually my forte in the other sections.. However for FAR, it's seeming like a nightmare.. just can't seem to get any right.. My problem is the answer is usually split in different paragraphs.. and I pick one, the most relevant according to me. Turns out that the correct answer is another paragraph which has a LINK to the paragraph I've entered as my answer!!!!!!!!!!!! Example – my answer is 25-10-5. Correct answer is 35-15-7 and when I check, the correct paragraph (35-15-7) mentions “the conditions mentioned in 25-10-5”.

Really struggling to get this right.. Any advice????

    P.S. – TESTING IN 24 HOURS…..
