I have Wiley 2012 test bank, Yaegar 2012 Cram, and Gleim online (test bank, sim wizard, etc.) NINJA notes, audio and flashcards. Hopefully, I will not have to battle iron iv infusions for the next six weeks and can focus on getting this done.

This is my last chance to pass FAR. I am open for any and all suggestions.

I just passed FAR with a 78 and had a nightmare time with my Sims. I had 1 hour to do all of them and I was barely getting to my 3rd one when I only had 35 minutes left. I got weaker on my Sims but got comparable on 2 sections in the multiple choice and and Stronger on the other 3 sections.

I have not used any of the materials you are currently using, but I just did buy the Ninja material to help me with Aud and Reg.

I used the regular Becker material, Becker flash cards, and Becker Final Review.

Maybe you could try the Becker Final Review? You already have flash cards so that probably wouldn't help but I found the final review useful. I don't think the Sims in the Final Review were anything similar to the Sims on my actual test but it did help with concepts for the multiple choice.

Can you buy Becker final review for one section if you haven't purchased other study materials?

Also, can I buy just the FAR section of the Wiley Test Bank? I would like to update but I don't need the other three sections…hopefully! I am anxious to see my score report but Illinois doesn't send them out via email and they take weeks. Ugh…

BaxterCPA: Not sure about Becker but for Wiley you can buy just 1 section. I think Jeff has it cheaper than the Wiley website and you'll get code right away.

BaxterCPA: It looks like Jeff sells Wiley for FAR on here for $87, and I'm sure you can probably use a coupon code. I think you can just go to the Becker web site and buy the Final Review to. Tim mentions that “if you didn't take our regular course” many times in the videos and it looks like you can just go to the web site and put it in your cart and check out.

You can buy per section from Jeff, $87/section for a year i assume. I bought all the sections from Jeff and i got access for a year. Wiley has it for $105/section for a years worth of access.

IMO Becker Final Review is a waste of funds. It's a very thin book and it only gives you the absolute basics for every chapter.

As others are saying, it might be a good idea to try a different program for FAR. You have seen your current material several times already, and your brain might be kind of programmed to tune it all out.

I might look into cpaexcel, what i use. Some of the questions might be overlap from your Wiley questions (wiley bought out CPAexcel) but the lectures will be fresh, in addition to the “feel” of the study materials. The whole shebang was $1400 i think, so a single section is probably to the tune of a couple hundred…

I really liked the far lecturers, the foremost was Pam. She had an effective method of presentation and gave some useful advice and acronyms.

Do you think I should waste time with videos? either the CRAM 2012 that I have or a new product?

just get the 2013 test bank and do nothing but MCQs, Sims, writing fact nuggets and rewriting Ninja notes? Oh, and falling asleep with Jeff in my ear!

Honestly, I do not think I have it in me to re-do AUD if I fail FAR again.

My Masters degree classes started today. I dropped one so I am only taking one and it is Intro to the Profession…I'm hoping I can skate through that until I re-take FAR in October.

I can't believe I was TWO friggin' points away from being done!!!

I have cpaexcel, it has so many lessons for far ( over 70) so I used yaeger and Wiley and ninja products trying to make studying a little easier. Didn't pass though. Failed miserably (too shame to tell the score), so I'm back to the drawing board. Someone said it's not the materials, it's thoroughly studying. Well I guess we have to get confidence from some where. I'm going to use what I have and make sure that I am really studying and not just passing time or simply running through the mcq's.

FAR is such an aggravating, over whelming beast.

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!
