FAR Journal Entry Question?

I was doing a simulation in the Becker Final Exam section for Far today, and the journal entry I put looked like this:

    Dr:Cash

    Dr:APIC-Comp Exp

    Cr:Common Stock

    Cr:APIC-Comp Exp

It said all my numbers were right except it was wrong because my debits should have been flip-flopped. It said:

    Dr:APIC-Comp Exp

    Dr:Cash

I’ve always just been under the assumption if it balanced it worked. Is this a glitch in the software or have I been doing these journal entries wrong?

I wouldn't worry about it. You have the right DR they are just flip flopped.

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....

the computer is programmed to grade it a certain way…the AICPA's program is not designed like that, so no worries…

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!

It is just a glitch/limitation to the Becker software. Don't worry about it.

    AUD - 92
    REG - 88
    FAR - Awaiting score
    BEC - 8/13
