Im taking FAR tomorrow at 12:30 here in Maryland. This is my second exam Im trying to knock these out quickly as Im running out of time with work. This exam is pretty broad, in college I was so used to knowing every topic 100% before an exam but with FAR its impossible. I could study for a few months and still not know everything perfectly. Ill be back on tomorrow after my exam to let everyone know what I thought of the new test style. To everyone else taking an exam today or tomorrow without any other feedback of the new test…good luck!

Hey, would love some feedback from you folks on how the exam went. I'm particularly interested in knowing if you felt prepared for IFRS and how the TBS went for you (e.g., was there a long drag time in changing from the MCQ to the TBS testlet and between tabs on the TBS as others have indicated).

I still haven't decided when I plan to sit for it again – maybe the end of this test window, maybe the beginning of the next one (my NTS expires July 1). I felt I covered the material very well when I sat for this section before, but I'm really trying to digest it even better this time (not as fatigued as I was last time – took FAR as the last of four sections in a five-month span while working, etc. – I was physically, mentally, and emotionally a wreck by then – can really see that now that I've had some “rest” time). My exam results indicated I was comparable in content area, stonger in MCQ and weaker on simulations (duh, I ran out of time before getting to the last simulation), stronger on governmental, and weaker on NFP. So, I know what to do to attack those problems, but not sure about IFRS and technical problems in changing from testlet to testlet. Any insight?
