I am a frequent visitor on another 71, i started my journey with Audit and passed with an 81. I am moving on to FAR, i attempted FAR a few years ago, did not pass and than gave up. I decided to go through with it again this year, especially since i have now passed one of 4. When i took far the first time i got a 63. Now with my exam scheduled on Nov 30, and starting F3, i feel like i am so behind. When i take the multiple choice i score in low 50’s. I am so nervous about this exam, it seriously seems like i wont pass. Financial accounting for me was always tough! Please any word of advice encouragements, because right now i feel like i should reschedule my exam to Jan or give up!!

It's not uncommon to score in the 50's for F2-F3 first run through. If it helps, I was getting those scores on my first run through and I passed with a 76. I studied for about 2 months and studied approx. 20 hrs/week. Just keep going, but make sure you are studying the answer solutions and understand the concepts before you completely move on to the next chapter.

Just remember, a 75 is all you need! It is common to feel discouraged.

Yeah, don't worry about scoring in the 50s with those practice questions. Honestly I think it does not mean anything. The practice questions/ homework questions are to learn. You get them wrong, look up the answers, hopefully understand where you went wrong and learn from it.

I never kept track of how I scored during studying, but I can tell you I felt totally NOT confident going into the exam and lost during it. Really really lost, particularly with the IFRS questions.

I am still stunned to have passed.

Just keep working the questions, make your own notes, and cover all the topics, even if it means not doing all of the hundreds of questions in some of the topics.

    Good luck to you!
