I am about 2.5 weeks from my FAR exam and the MC scores are disappointing. I am averaging around 50-55%. I know this is my weakest section but I am getting really discouraged. I am using Ninja and Becker. I am about to start on Becker Final Review and I am continuing to use Ninja MC. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I should do these final two weeks. I get the MC…I am hoping to do around 150 questions a day every day along with going through the Final Review but the scores are making me want to quit…cmon 55%. Any help would be appreciated. Hang in there and don't let the scores screw with your head!! Thats the worst thing you can do. (happened to me first sit)- Really concentrate on what you are missing and why you are missing it- can not be stressed enough with FAR you must understand the underlying concepts and the corresponding JE's. Some people might disagree with me but I would spend my time instead of cranking out as many MCQs as possible cranking out as many “troubled” questions or “missed questions” and nailing down those concepts- then fill in with random sets of 30. Thanks for the reply. I have been trying to go chapter by chapter to review and take questions to see what areas I have problems with. I narrowed that down but I seem to be able to narrow 50% of those I get wrong down to two answers…and I mostly pick the wrong one out of those two. The level of detail in some questions are tough and sometiems I simply misread the question. More questions and more reading. Can't wait for this to be over! I just finished the last section on becker and I have just about 3 weeks to review, but to be perfectly honest, I can barely remember anything prior to like F6 or F7

I'm only 2.5 days away from the FAR. LOL.

Two weeks ago when I started reviewing, I found I almost forgot everything before F6. I went through all of the sims on Becker again and did some MSQs. Not sure how much I have picked up. There is no time for me to do more reviewing.

I'm about 2.5 days away from FAR as well. Starting to get nervous. I would love to pass FAR the first time around and just be done with this whole process. I'll find out my AUD score next week as well.

what worked for me is, instead of an exhaustive list of practice questions, maybe focus on 10-15 question topics (heavy on calc qs not to waste time calculating but to learn HOW to approach/read questions easier (i.e. bond questions)), print them, and study them like a book to give yourself an edge to how to approach calc questions. Then towards closer to exam, sprinkle concept type questions so you cover your bases. SO basically attack calc questions and not overdo those but review them to learn how to answer…then mix concept questions so you don't miss out on “easy” points

REG - 29,58,65,77 1/16
FAR - 56,68,73 - retake October hopefully (last shot)

I took FAR July 29th and I felt worried as I started hitting review. However, review is the most important aspect of studying because it helps you mold all the individual sections you have been doing together. Review allows you to see where you struggle and specifically target those areas. I know the feeling of have low scores on your study materials but that just means you can hone in on those weaker areas. 2.5 weeks is a great opportunity to show just how great you are! You will come out of this feeling strong if you just grind your life away these next few weeks!
