FAR is my last section…

    Hey, anyone want to give me some knowledge about FAR. Does material overlap with BEC, AUD or REG at all? I am using Becker, what chapters are the hardest/easiest? Any other info would be great. THANKS!

    People often like to say something along the lines of, “I saw FAR questions on my AUD exam”, but I've taken all four tests, and I haven't noticed that whatsoever. There will be some overlap due to fact that it's all “accounting”, but there is no logical reason for the AICPA to test the same material on two different tests, unless it's due to some sort of computer glitch. I've found all four tests to be very distinct.

    AUD: 88
    BEC: 79
    REG: 81
    FAR: 72 » 74 » 88

    Study method: 100% watching videos, including solving problems covered therein; no books, paper, or pencils

    FAR is my last exam as well. Having covered half of the Becker text, there is quite a bit of overlap (obviously more detailed) in FAR.

    And I'm regretting taking this as my last section.

    last section here as well…few things here n there are in more detail than the other sections but I wouldn't say there are a lot of overlap. I agree with you Nick, I do wish I took FAR 1st or 2nd. Feel like I am drained from the other 3 yet this is the most extensive section to prepare for.

    Yep. Just started the material a few days ago and I am also regretting the decision of FAR as my last section. Anyway, at least we are almost done. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to worry about this CPA. It really does make your life a living hell BUT as Olinto says it will all be worth it. Good luck studying
