Almost a week ago I sat for AUD and have been having difficulty getting into study mode for FAR since that time. I took at my material a few days and FAR is 10 chapters! Yikes! Also hearing and reading that FAR is a beast doesn’t help.

However, I’m determined to do my best to prepare for this section of the exam. I have flashcards and my material has lectures to view for this exam. I’m not a big fan of watching a lecture and taking notes. Per my conversation with my comrades they all recommend watching the lectures as feel this assist with help with understanding the concepts.

My plan is to watch the lectures, do TONS of MC questions and go thru my notecards. Good luck to everyone who is sitting for a section of the exam during this testing window.

If anyone has advise on how to prepared for this exam. I’m open to suggestions and advise that you have.

First of all, stay motivated! You can do this. FAR is a beast. I'm not a huge fan of taking notes myself (I'm a good listener) but everyone has a study technique that works for them. Watch lectures and then immediately do the MCQ to determine if you have a good grasp of the concept. Progress tests after each chapter is useful for you to identify the areas you need to study.

Don't skip Gov/NFP stuff. Make sure you get that material ingrained.

    AUD: 98 (4/13)
    BEC: 84 (5/13)
    FAR: 91 (7/13)
    REG: 91 (8/13)
