I have FAR scheduled for May 26th. I have watched all of the Becker videos, but have been studying off and on for a few months. I know there is a post on passing the CPA exam in 20 days, but is this possible with FAR. I feel like I have forgotten everything I have learned thus far and will basically be starting from scratch. Has anyone pulled this off? If so how many hours a day did you study/how many questions did you do a day? I am thinking of putting it off until July. I did buy the NINJA audio a couple weeks ago and listen whenever I can…but my attention span seems a little short.

What other obligations do you have? Are you currently working/going to school/raising a family/have a really needy dog? If you don't have any of the above, honestly, it really shouldn't be that difficult to pull off if you're willing to put in the time and effort.

    You've got it.

What you have to do is FORGET everything except (immediate) Family … Work … Exam.

If it isn't your wife/kids … work … or exam … you DON'T do it for the next 3 weeks. PERIOD.

    PERIOD.

    PERIOD.

    PERIOD.

    Forget Facebook…tv…those don't exist.

    Make it happen, Captain.

My exam is on May 25 and i am forgetting stuff as well. One of my buddies suggested who last year took the exam and passed in the first try. Gave me tips, he said to make your own flash cards, which is what i have done as well. It helps a lot. For FAR he told me you don't have to memorize everything but understand the concept. Now there are somethings you do have to memorize, so break them down in mnemonics or you can create your own. Do as many MCQ's and SIMS. I am struggling with my studies as well due to work and commute every day but if i don't pass i know there is only person to blame and that's myself. But again its not the end of the world, keep a positive attitude and you will pass. And once you get the certification you will be glad its over.
