FAR – How do you know when you are ready??

I have been studying FAR over the last 2.5 months and am close to being ready – I think, but how can I tell? I am using Yaeger and it’s been great. My problem is that I take 2 steps forward, then 1 step back. Some days I feel like I CAN DO THIS, and other days I completely doubt myself. Anyone else feel this way?

Also, how should I study the SIMS? I’ve heard some say to be familiar with the Research tabs and such, but no need to go over so many as you never know what you’ll actually get on the exam. Others go over as many as they can, so who knows?? Any suggestions are much appreciated.

On a personal note I skipped studying last Saturday night and went to see Widespread Panic in Charlotte and it was just what I needed to get ready for my final push towards the exam!!

    FAR 67, 73, 71, 76; AUD 61, 85; BEC 70, 77; REG 75

    DONE

When is your test? How many hours of studying do you have in that 2.5m. If you have been seriously committed I think you are ready. You will always second guess yourself but you just have to do the best you can. If you prepared seriously what else can you do?

I like looking over sims. Some say it is the same info as a MC but grouped together so don't bother. So great, that means you can try and figure it out and study from a tab that has related info. If it is the same material it doesn't hurt to do it; and being slightly different in format, I think there is the added benefit. I also like reading the communication solutions to get an idea of ways to phrase answers. Research is just hit or miss depending on how easy it is to find what you're looking for so don't worry too much about that, it is worth very little.

Anyways do some final tests if you have them available and that might boost your confidence.
