I’m in my final review just taking a bunch of MCQ’s, my question is my scores aren’t improving at all from day to day. I’m assuming I’m not retaining/learning anything new, what would you guys suggest I do? I review the material for questions I get wrong but it just isn’t sticking anymore. Your thoughts?

    BEC-70,73,68,74 SH##!!!!!, 80
    REG-73,76
    FAR -74,82

Crunchtime – are you able to print off your MCQ's? I have found for me with FAR the only way I am really going to learn some of this material is printing off MCQ's that I don't understand along with making my own notes, and then looking at them more than once or twice. I think repetition is key as well (time permitting of course)… I hope this helps!

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

Thanks for the reply lauren, I never thought of printing them off, I use CPA exel which I have 1,944 questions, I choose randomly in 20-40 questions at a time. Look at the answers I got wrong, right down the reasons and then answer them correctly.

Got ya, ya FAR has been very overwhelming for me. I have printed off questions by topic, it has become quite a lot but I am hoping some of the material may stick better this way – espcially for the more math intentive questions/subjects.

I am using CPAexcel and Wiley test bank of FAR. CPAexcel is great for reading materials and some of the videos are wonderful. But I felt like I needed to practice new MCQ's so I bought Wiley test bank as well. Hopefully, with both of them I will be able to pass.

Also, I have been studying all this material for 6 months now and it is really sticking now, still a lot that I keep forgetting. By practicing and rereading over and over, you are putting the material in your long term memory.

    Good luck!

I have my FAR test scheduled for next week (already extended the date as far as allowed), I am using Gleim, which seems to be very detail oriented and taking much longer to study that I had anticipated. Has anyone used Gleim and have hints on a faster track of sucessfully studying? I still have some chapters to complete with about 50 hours of study time available until my test date. Yikes!!

I am using Gleim as well. Sitting for the exam on Tuesday and very nervous! I am running out of time so I am just doing as many multiple choice as possible. Gleim has so much information (which for FAR I'm sure they all have a lot), but I am hoping it prepares me more than enough! Goodluck!

If it makes you feel any better, I was consistently scoring around 65-70% on my MCQ, and wound up with an 85. You can do it!

Maybe you could look on YouTube for some videos that explain the areas you're struggling with? Sometimes fresh material can make it click.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
