Well…got my FAR score today. Big, fat 65. Eeek. What a kick to the stomach. I knew that the SIMS were brutal. I am allowing myself a couple of days of self pity, and drinking and then I’m going to regroup.

It was super hard to get it together and work a 10 hour day today. It’s tax season and I won’t be able to study until after April 15th. I’m thinking of buying the Ninja notes until then to keep the info fresh and then use them to supplement Becker before I sit again at the end of May. Any thoughts on that?

I HATE having this much time between exams but I’m not sure that I have any other choice. I have to have 55 charged hours per week until 4/15 and I have a family. I don’t know that I can squeeze in studying. I’m kind of a wuss when it comes to having no sleep.

Just being honest. I am truly happy for everyone that passed! Seriously, this can knock me down, but I’m going to get up and start fighting. They can drag me kicking and screaming, but I’m going to become a CPA someday.

Also, I am living proof that it is sooooo much better to get in the 60’s than in the 70’s. I don’t feel nearly as sick as when I got a 71. Maybe because a 65 is just such a hard core fail. Anything in the 70s just seems too close for comfort and the what-ifs start coming.

    REG - 80 (Becker only)
    BEC - 76 (Becker only)
    AUD - 71, 76 (Becker only)
FAR - 65, 74, 81! (Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja notes & Audio)

    CPA Class of 2012 🙂

@Mrs 300 I agree with your plan of attack and supplementing Becker with the ninja notes. I got a 73 when I took FAR the first time using Becker only. Then I supplemented Becker with the Ninja notes and Wiley test bank and passed. The Wiley questions are much easier to understand.
