Ok, this exam is going to be a beast. For the first three sections I sat for, I would do all of the Becker MCQ’s, take Practice Exam 1, do all of the MCQ’s that I missed/flagged again, take Practice Exam 2, and review MCQ’s/SIMS until exam day.

It looks like I am not going to have enough time to do this for FAR. What are your tips for the final review? I really want to get this done and have my life back.

    Thanks guys!

for all my other sections, I did optional questions, but on FAR, I skipped all optional questions except chapters for governmental and non-profit.

overall, i think your strategy is good, always go back to look at those questions that you did wrong for the first time, or those ones you flagged. That's kind of what I did.

But don't skip SIMs. I didn't do SIMs at all in my first round of study, and all my MCQ when I did it on my first try was like 65-75%. Then on my second round, I redo all questions I flagged, plus SIMs. I don't even finish one of the two final exams. On my last day, I totally freak out, so i started doing AICPA released questions, and it helped me relax, because i found out I can answer majority of them quickly and correct. I have to say I didn't take mock exam at all, and didn't count down time for all my MCQ when i practice it. On the real exam, I spend 40/40/50 on those MCQ, ends up only have 115 min for SIMs. I tried to finish all blank until very last second.

I recommend doing AICPA released question for your last day. Help you relax. And i actually think I run into 2 same question on the released one, not sure if i am crazy or not…

    AUD - 76 (May 2012)
    BEC - 81 (July 2012)
    REG - 61 (Aug 2012), rematch 83 (October 2012)
    FAR - 85 (May 2013)
