    Hi –

I’m starting my final review using the Becker software. The software consist of three components. 1) Rework all homework 2) 2 Final Reviews 3) Progress tests..

Does anyone have any advice on where I should begin? Should I jump right into the final review?

    FAR – 5/30/12

Honestly it depends on how much time you can commit to it. In my opinion, I think it is kind of dumb to rework a section you know. This can be re-enforced through progress tests. I have never reworked all of the homework or the sims, I only rework the sections I had a problem with. For all of the exams I have taken and the one I am about to take, I have only had one week of final review. I use the first couple days to brush up on topics that I consider to be my weak areas or things that I may have forgot. I do a progress test (100 question) at least once a day. I then take the first practice exam and analyze where I need to focus my time before I take the next practice exam. I then take the next practice exam 2 days before the actual exam and use it for a final basis of what areas I need to concentrate on. Throughout this entire process, I write on a separate piece of paper what things I could easily forget before the exam and go back over it the day before. So far, this has worked well for me.

    BEC - Feb 2012: 80
    AUD - Feb 2012: 84
    FAR - Apr 2012: 78
    REG - May 2012: 90

    Thanks Becker!

100 questions a day sounds like a lot. You are probably over working the brain. I found the FAR final to be WAY harder than the actual test. I wish I would have never taken it. However, it probably did me some good in the actual exam.

Thank you! I will try that approach. I forgot some of the material from the prior chapters…. I feel like I'm always missing something.

@Blu2388… I would do at least 100 questions a day and I don't regret it at all. I have passed every section on my first try so far so I don't plan on changing my method now. I found the Becker exams generally harder than the actual exam except for the FAR sims, which were way longer and harder than the actual exam. Most of the questions in the passmaster for FAR were about the same difficulty as the ones on the actual exam. I dominated the multiple choice and did horrible on the sims on the real exam. Doing at least 100 questions a day did pay off when I passed because of my performance on the multiple choice, not the sims.

    BEC - Feb 2012: 80
    AUD - Feb 2012: 84
    FAR - Apr 2012: 78
    REG - May 2012: 90

    Thanks Becker!

For AUD and BEC I did 200 A day. FAR and REG were a little more time consuming so I did 100 a day. I break them up in to 30 question testlets throughout the day. It's not that bad.

    FAR - 68, 79
    AUD - 82
    REG - 71, 71, 80
    BEC - 76

I am using Becker also, and spent about 2 weeks in review. The actual Final Review software suggests starting it a few days prior to your exam, so that is what I would do. For the review within the other Becker software, I just went back and did MCQs that I hadn't gotten right yet, not all of them over again. I only did the SIMS the first time through, not at all in review. I would take both practice exams, so basically spent a few days going back through MCQ, take exam and see where I was weakest. Spent a day reviewing what I missed on the exam. Then a few more days MCQ, and take the 2nd practice exam (hopefully do better). Then spend 3-4 days on the Final Review software. I loved the FR for AUD, with FAR I wasn't able to get all the way through it in 4 days, but I was pretty burnt out on the material by then.

    AUD 85 (2/22/12)
    FAR 81 (5/10/12)
    BEC 7/13/12
    REG 10/1/12

    using Becker
