Looking for a bit of advice on FAR final review. I’ve been using mostly Ninja thus far and have made it through all but about 240 questions (hit all topics though) while taking notes on what I missed. For the last few days, I’ve been going through weaker areas until I trend 80%(I’m skipping questions with less than 15). If I have trouble, I will go back to notes and watch Wiley or Plus videos. This weekend I plan on hitting some SIMS,and moving to Wiley TB. That’s pretty much where my plan ends. My exam is on May 5th, and I’m wondering what some of you have done (or are doing) for FAR final review? After Saturday, I’ll have 25-30 hours left with my week. Not sure the best way to use them.

Here is what I did for the last 2 weeks of my review phase for FAR. I used Becker as my primary review course and Ninja MCQ as supplementary. Once I finished going through all the units in Becker, I went back to the first module of the first unit, started going through the MCQs within that module (Becker has it where if you get the question correct or incorrect, you can see the answer explanations right away if you go through the questions this way, not through Becker “Progress Tests”).

After going through all the MCQs once, I started grinding through 10 sets of 33 MCQs through Becker Progress Tests (you can't see the answer explanations until you submit for this). When I was done with the Becker session, I would go through 10 sets of 30 MCQs on Ninja MCQs. Now, I say this every time I give someone advice on how to study or best tackle during the review session for FAR – EVERYONE is different so what works for me may not work for you or anyone else for that matter.

Working through MCQs like there is no tomorrow is how I learn the best – by reading the answer explanations in order to understand why correct answer is correct and incorrect answers are incorrect. From what I've seen on this forum, most people like to do what I do at a small increment of MCQs so you should probably try that to see if you can soak in the knowledge better. Maybe, you don't have the time to go through the amount of MCQs I go through a day so tailor the method to your schedule and see what works for you.

Glance over the book and your notes if you have taken any (Personally, I never took any notes). I'm not sure if this is the answer you were looking for, but I hope this helps. Good luck with your FAR exam!
